Every year, as June unfolds, the colors of Pride ripple through Manila’s streets, lighting up our city, and the world, with active stories of Filipino LGBTQ+ life, courage, and resilience. This year, global news is taking notice, amplifying the voices and celebrations that make our community not just visible, but truly heard. On August 3, 2025, we gather these stories of joy, struggle, and solidarity to show that Pride in the Philippines is as bold, diverse, and unstoppable as ever.

Celebrating loud, proud, and Filipino

From the lively Pride Street Party in Poblacion to inclusive mixers like The Queer Table, Metro Manila hosted unforgettable events this year that welcomed every shade of the rainbow. Drawing crowds in the thousands, these gatherings did more than just entertain, they helped cultivate belonging, support friendship, and uplift LGBTQ+ lives. The Rolling Stone Philippines highlighted 12 must-do Manila Pride parties, where drag performers, queer musicians, and allies danced and marched together. At these events, our stories blend with music and laughter, but also with advocacy: a living reminder that Pride celebrates love and affirms our right to be safe and seen.

Community and courage: More than a festival
