Last Call Dive into Komiket Prides Queer Art Fest

Final Day Alert: Catch Komiket Pride’s Explosive Queer Art Showcase at Ayala Malls The 30th

SLAY, QUEENS AND KINGS! Today is your LAST CHANCE to immerse yourself in the energetic celebration of Filipino queer creativity at Komiket Pride Week! The final day of this art extravaganza is happening RIGHT NOW at Ayala Malls The 30th, running until 8 PM tonight. Trust me, you do NOT want to miss this rainbow explosion of talent!

I literally just came from the event (outfit of the day: neon green jumpsuit, because why be subtle?) and the energy is ELECTRIC! Artists are bringing their A-game on this closing day with a dazzling array of comics, artwork, and pride-themed merchandise that celebrates every beautiful shade of the LGBTQ+ spectrum.

As announced on Komiket’s official Instagram, this Sunday sizzles with queer creativity from 10 AM to 8 PM. That gives you exactly three more hours as of publication time to get yourself to this pride paradise!

What to Expect on the Final Day

The showcase features dozens of talented queer Filipino artists sharing their personal stories through various art forms. Many creators are using this platform to express their identities and speak out against discrimination, creating powerful visual narratives that resonate with our community’s experiences.

I spotted countless visitors walking around with their “Komiket Pride Haul”, everything from rainbow-themed komiks to hand-crafted accessories that scream PRIDE in the most fabulous way possible. Ayala Malls The 30th has fully embraced the celebration, even encouraging visitors to share their purchases on social media.

Why This Matters

Events like Komiket Pride provide crucial visibility and support for our LGBTQ+ artists. In a country where queer expression still faces challenges, these spaces allow creators to share authentic stories that might otherwise remain untold.

The three-day event that began on June 6th has been a spectacular showcase of how art becomes a medium for Filipino queer artists to express themselves freely and connect with the community. As one artist told me between happy tears, “This is where I feel most myself.”

Don’t Miss Out!

If you’re reading this and haven’t been yet, what are you waiting for?! Grab your most colorful outfit and head over to Ayala Malls The 30th before 8 PM tonight. The mall is conveniently located in Pasig City and is accessible via various transportation options.

Remember to tag @komiket and #KomiketPride in your haul photos, I’ll be resharing my favorites on BayoHub’s social media accounts!

See you there, beautiful people! Let’s close out this Pride celebration with all the color, creativity, and community love we deserve! 🌈✨
