Philippines Preps for Record-Breaking Pride Month Festivities
Grab your rainbow flags, glitter, and most fabulous outfits, besties! The Philippines is about to explode with the most colorful, energetic, and MASSIVE Pride celebrations we’ve ever seen! As your go-to event guru, I’ve got ALL the tea on what’s brewing for Pride Month 2025, and trust me, you won’t want to miss any of it!
LOV3LABAN 2025: The Main Event!
Mark your calendars for June 28th (that’s a Saturday, perfect for partying all day and night!) because Pride PH is bringing back their legendary Love Laban Pride March and Festival! This year’s theme is “LOV3LABAN 2025” and it’s promising to be “MATAPANG at mas MASAYANG LABAN para sa LOVE!” While they haven’t officially announced the venue, Pride PH has tagged Quezon Memorial Circle in their posts, so we can expect to return to the scene where last year’s event drew a WHOPPING 228,000 attendees!
After last year’s weather drama (remember when they had to cancel because of the downpour?), the organizers are planning an even more spectacular comeback. Let’s manifest clear skies and dry ground for this year’s festivities!
Pride Month Kicks Off with QC Pride Run!
Can’t wait until June 28th? Then lace up those sneakers for the QC Pride Run 2025 happening on June 7th at 6:00 PM along Tomas Morato! For just 500 pesos, you’ll get a singlet, racer bib, LED wristband, and medal, plus ALL the pride-filled vibes as you run for equality!
Their catchy tagline “Takbo na, Besh! Hindi lang puso ang pinapatibok, pati tuhod at pride!” has me already planning my outfit. Registration slots are LIMITED, so sign up NOW at their website or scan the QR code on their posters!
Beyond the March: A Month of Celebrations
Pride Month runs the entire month of June, giving us 30 full days of LGBTQ+ celebration, activism, and community love! While Manila Pride remains the first-ever gay pride event in Asia (established way back in 1984!), the festivities have expanded to include parties, cultural events, and activities throughout the metro area.
We’re also keeping an eye on the 2025 Philippine LGBTQ+ Gender Spectrum Forum and Leadership Symposium, which will bring together activists, business leaders, and allies to push forward the conversation on inclusion and equality.

Whether you identify as LGBTQ+ or come as an ally, Pride is for EVERYONE who believes in love, equality, and human rights. Bring your friends, family, and open hearts to any of these events, and don’t forget to stay hydrated and wear sunscreen!
