Quezon City Celebrates Love and Equality at 2025 Pride Festival

Quezon City pulsed with every color of the rainbow last weekend as over 250,000 people, from fierce drag artists to proud parents, barkadas, and allies, flooded the University of the Philippines Diliman campus for the 2025 Lov3Laban: Pride PH Festival. This wasn’t just a party, mga beshies: it was an unstoppable wave of queer joy, activism, and solidarity that rocked the city and raised the bar for LGBTQ+ celebrations across Southeast Asia.

The crowd was electric as the city’s fourth and biggest Pride fest to date took over UP Diliman and scattered Pride Villages all over Quezon City. With tambays lounging on rainbow blankets, food stalls serving every comfort food under the sun, and stages buzzing with music and drag brilliance, it was a feast for every sense, a wild, warm hug for every member of our diverse community. Mayor Joy Belmonte called it “a evidence to our support for the community’s fight for equal rights and celebration of their love and identities,” vowing that Quezon City would keep pushing for inclusion as long as discrimination persists.
